About us

Anand ‘Mavrik’ Upadhyay

The experiential learning ‘bug’ bit him during his early post qualification years in New Zealand, working with the Maori Development Authority; a quasi Govt. body involved in upskilling the Maoris and bringing them into mainstream NZ society.

A keen 4WD rally driver, he thrives on exploring uncharted territories – literally and figuratively speaking. Influenced by Peter Senge’s work (co-facilitated with him) among others, his worldview draws strongly from the learning organization model.

Believes in the unlimited potential of humans to build a productive, safe and joyful world for themselves and others. His workshops reflect this belief.

Anamika ‘Mermaid’ Dutt Anand

Anamika ‘stumbled’ upon experiential learning in a workshop she attended and saw the power of this methodology first hand.

A voracious reader and an avid traveller, she loves experiencing new cultures and perspectives. Always keen to help people, it was a natural progression for her to get certified as a counsellor from TISS. Working with people energizes her, especially in ‘eco-green’ environments.

Anand and Anamika are supported by an eighteen-member team of experienced facilitators and
subject matter experts from the field of theatre, adventure, music and films.

“People grow through experience if they meet life honestly and courageously. This is how character is built” – Eleanor Roosevelt (1884-1962) DNA is the basic building block of any organism.
