Overview

This simulation is inspired by Dr. Spencer Johnson’s “Who Moved My Cheese”

This simulation is conducted after dark, in a forested area (USUALLY A FOREST RESERVE OR WILD LIFE SANCTUARY) Teams have to navigate the ‘maze’, an area of 3.5 sq. kms divided into several cheese stations. Each team is provided with a map, which is not to scale and a compass to help them navigate.

The entire route is marked with “radium” (glow in the dark) directional & zone markers to guide the teams. A professional ‘safety instructor’ is attached to each team. In case of forest reserves / sanctuaries, 2 forest officers accompany the teams.

Great for:

  • Handling ambiguous situations / taking decisions with scarce data.
  • Conflict resolution
  • Effectiveness under pressure
  • Teamwork
  • Situational Leadership
  • Stepping out of espoused ‘comfort zones’

Venue:

Any city / hotel across India with a forest cover in the vicinity (area of about 2.5 sq. Kms)

Duration:
3 hours

Group Size:
20-100+

Testimonial

I used services of Anand and his team for team building for a business unit that I was handling. It was a diverse group of people we were trying to bring together in a newly formed business unit which was performing below its potential. The intervention really helped to get the team bind together. It was very helpful in getting everyone in the team to really strive hard and was instrumental in getting the business to turn around.
